Weekend Reading: September 14, 2008

I am currently in Alexandria, VA visiting my sister for her husband birthday. The drive out from New York on Friday was terrible. The afternoon rain caused several accidents, combine that to road constructions and Friday traffic, and we have a recipe for an 8-hour drive. There were several stretches on our drive that I felt like I was a submarine commander.
By the way, Happy Birthday Mrs. Micah. If I had known that Mrs. Micah was born on the same day, we could’ve met up and have a double party!
The PF Challenge
A while ago, I mentioned that I was participating in The PF Challenge game sponsored by Lending Club. I made it almost to the end, but was eliminated by Patrick from Cash Money Life. Here are the top three winners:
- Madison from My Dollar Plan
- Step3Prophet from Step3Prophet
- Patrick from Cash Money Life
You can see the official announcement at DebtKid.

Thanks, Pinyo!
It’s a good day for a birthday, though I’m glad we didn’t have to drive anywhere with all the weather.
I have a friend who served on a submarine. There are no windows.
Thanks for the mention.
Thanks for the links. I haven’t figured out the carnival thing yet – though I did try. So here goes, I’ll give it another go.
Thanks for the mention and happy birthday.
@Mrs. Micah — You’re welcome.
@Patrick — May be not in a nuclear war submarine, but the ones I saw in Science and Discovery Channels have windows.
@Data Entry Lady — Just go to: http://blogcarnival.com/bc/clist.php
Pick the relevant carnival and submit your article (usually 1 article per carnival per edition).
Nice roundup. Thanks for sharing my latest article.
@PT – You’re welcome.
