My family is going on a vacation for a few days. We’re going as far south as Virginia Beach on this trip and I look forward to see the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and neighboring area. I will be resuming my normal schedule by July 14th. I wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July weekend.

Have a great time! I just moved from there. Try Freemason Abbey for a dinner.

Have fun at Virginia Beach. I went there last year for July 4th…unfortunately, strong winds along the beach that just won’t die down ultimately canceled the fireworks display :(

Small world! I was born and raised in Virginia Beach and although I moved to downtown Atlanta a few years ago, I come back to VB every year for the 4th — in fact I’m typing this message from my parent’s beach house. Heck, I was also fishing off the Bay Bridge Tunnel earlier this morning :)

Have a blast, but I must warn you, I almost turned blue when I went in the ocean today - it’s absolutely FREEZING right now for some odd reason.

Enjoy the 20 mile bridge! I used to go over it every time I went back and forth to college in Norfolk, good times! Have a nice vacation with the family Pinyo. :-)

Thank you everyone. I am back! Hopefully, I’ll be able to put together a post about my vacation tonight and post it Friday morning.
