TaxCut Giveaway, Alltop.com, Easton Ellsworth, and Carnivals
By Pinyo • Mar 12th, 2008 • Category: MiscellaneousTaxCut Giveaway
On February 24th, I announced that I was giving away TaxCut Online Premium Software + E-file by randomly picking two winners from people who left comments and trackbacks between February 24th and March 7th. As it turned out, the winners I selected already did their taxes — good for them! So, I am going to try to give this out again. To make this one quick and easy, here’s the rule:
- Send me an email with the subject line “TaxCut” before March 13 at 12 noon (Eastern Time)
- I will pick random 2 winners from the emails I receive
That’s it. I will contact the winners via email.
Alltop.com
Guy Kawasaki started an aggregator directory called Alltop.com. Moolanomy along with other familiar names are listed in the personal finance section, please take a look.
Easton Ellsworth
Easton Ellsworth is offering free blog improvement help at Visionary Blogging. I asked him for help with Moolanomy and got back two really cool short videos with improvement suggestions. You may have noticed some changes I made during the last few days. I am still working on implementing the rest of his suggestions.
If you are a blogger, I highly recommend his service.
Carnivals
I just want to take the opportunity to highlight carnivals I participated in this week:
- Dave Ramsey’s Baby Step 6: Pay Off Home Early was featured in the Money Hacks Carnival #3 - What is a Hack? Edition hosted by My Dollar Plan.
- Life Insurance Part 2: Should I Buy Whole Life Insurance? was featured in the Cavalcade of Risk #47: March Madness (Play at Your Own Risk) hosted by Regulating Health Insurance.

Pinyo, thanks so much for the shout-out. You’re working hard and doing a great job at Moolanomy and with the M-Network. I hope my tips help you in the long run.
Alltop looks barebones but interesting. Guy is one smart … guy … and the site is certainly worth checking out. Thanks!
@Mike - No problem.
@Easton - Happy to mention your service. Awesome videos. I think you’re really on to something with it.
