The last two cars I bought new instead of used. I had always been told "if you buy a used car, you're buying someone else's car problems" and was told to buy new. The more I read on the blogosphere, the more I wonder if I was given bad advice. For my next car (which I hope to be many, many, many years away), I will probably consider used. I'm right there with you on the oil change too. Melissa has changed her own oil, but I'm just not up to the task. It's only 20 bucks and includes a free car wash - I can handle that much more easily!
